War’s end, silence falls,
Boys with dreams and dusty boots—
Hope kicks off again.
Enugu’s brave hearts,
Rangers rise from ashes bold,
Victory brings light.
Christian stood tall,
Chairman not just in nickname—
Pride stitched in his threads.
Green Eagles took flight,
He led with quiet power,
Joy stitched through the land.
Ethnic walls dissolved,
In their game, one nation stood—
Feet spoke unity.
Coach of stars and steel,
He brought home more than trophies—
He brought back belief.
Laurels on his brow,
Yet deeper still was his grace—
A banner unstained.
Though time stilled his voice,
His values still call us forth—
Build with pride and truth.
Goodnight, Chairman Chukwu—
May your light guide those unborn,
In your truth, they rise.
